Android Market Hit 6 Billion Downloads

Google’s Android Market has hit with six million downloads, according to Susan Wojcicki, SVP of Ads at Google. According to Susan Wojcicki, the Andorid Maket has over 250,000 apps and users have dowloadded apps over six billion times, a double growth from just a few months ago. According to the company, there are now more than 550,000 Android device activations daily. A total of 135 million Android devices have now been activated, up from 100 million two months ago. Google turned over a substantial $9.02 billion in gross revenues for the second quarter, that’s 32% more than the same time last year.
