Google Inc. announced its decision to close down its site for testing new features in the branded products and services, known asGoogle Labs(Laboratory for Google). According to the official blog of the internet giant, this decision is the result of the declared policy of the newly re-prioritization of further development of the company.

Thus, many experiments were conducted under the Google Labs and aimed, ultimately, the introduction of new functionality in proprietary solutions and services that will most likely collapsed, while others will move to the new site. It is emphasized that the restructuring should not seriously affect the product associated with the Android, as related applications will continue to be available through Android Market.

In addition, despite the closure of its “lab” in Google is not going to weaken the zeal to design innovative solutions, and more than evidence of this is the recent launch of social-networking service Google +, as long as that operating in test mode. Internet giant also has no plans to change the channels for experimentation of its products, for example, Gmail Labs, and Maps Labs.
