Alienware Adds Bigfoot Killer Wireless-N Network Adapter To Its Notebook Range

Alienware has today announced that it is now adding Bigfoot’s integrated Killer Wireless-N 1103 networking adapters to its M11x, M14x, M17x and M18x gaming notebooks. The new Bigfoot Killer Wireless-N Network Adapter has been designed to provide gamers with a superior wireless networking Speed with data rates up to 450Mbps when enabled with 802.11n with 3 spatial streams, but of course actual wireless throughput will vary.

Together with jitter free connections using Bigfoot Networks’ exclusive Advanced Stream Detect technology which automatically classifies and prioritises latency-sensitive network traffic for online games, HD video, voice and audio, keeping your WiFi connection smooth at all times.

No information has been released by Alienware as to how much the optional upgrade will cost but more information is available from the Alienware website
